We skipped GoogaMooga, partly because of my post-op care and mostly because it got deemed a shit show for it's first day, which technically would have worked out better for us because we were scheduled for Sunday.
And you know what I kind of thought about? Selling my "free" tickets on Stubhub, because you know assholes were snatching those up at $100+ a pop. Then I realized I wasn't a complete asshole and it wasn't worth it. Nothing is worth doing grimy shit like that.
And you know what I thought was super annoying? Assholes who got tickets for both days and later commented "soooo glad I went again on Sunday." You suck.

Food pillows!
Adam and I bought a new couch a few weeks ago, and the pillows that came with it were horrendous, so we've been on a mission to find suitable throw pillows.
I asked him if he wanted me to pick these up the last time I was at HomeGoods:
Not really throw pillows per se, but they could have worked.

Well.
I didn't reschedule the dental surgery, so it looks like I will be testing my luck two days after getting a screw surgically implanted into my gums/jaw at a free (but RSVP required/"sold out") food festival full of people who look like they stuck their head in a grease bucket and found their clothes at the bottom of a 20 year old dirty hamper for the sake of food. Once, after a rant about this coffee shop near where I used to work in East Williamsburg/Bushwick, my friend and old co-worker showed me this: http://diehipster.wordpress.com and everything I ever felt was validated.
And yes, I will sacrifice a lot for the sake of food and most of the time it's worth it.

This is what I did when I was out of work for three days after I had the first round of dental surgery.
This is what we buy when we end up going to the grocery store for some bagged kettle corn, and not only is it on sale, so is Fage - 10 for $8! How could I say no?
Sometimes I contemplate starting a tumblr based on what other people buy on line at the store. Like, five bars of chocolate, a half watermelon and fucking Doritos? AND WERTHERS?!
