Japan

This time last year I was planning my third trip to Japan, eager to travel alone, see an old friend and to finally eat at a legit conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Tokyo (it took three trips!).  I took this picture somewhere between Sapporo and Tono on a JR train, traveling along the east coast.  Do you see that man by the rocks?  Where do you think he is today?
