I love those little sprinkle cookies they sell at Italian bakeries, so I made
Saveur's version for Adam's family Christmas party. They were less cake-y than I had hoped and more cookie like, and the ones at the bakeries are always sort of cake-like in the middle. We'll see what happens next time.
The recipe says to use a one ounce ice cream scoop or two tablespoons. I do not own a cookie scoop, but I do own measuring spoons, and I will tell you right now that two table spoons does NOT equal one ounce. One ounce is roughly 28 grams (thank you google and thank you scale), and really more like one heaping tablespoon. Also, not sure where you get 36 cookies either. I made just over two dozen.

Brown sprinkles look like mice turds, and there must be a tub of rainbow sprinkles that do not include them.

Dropped my phone in the flattened dough balls.

Do you see my test cookie?
Also, I always forget to use my Silpat mats. Adam got me another one for Christmas so hopefully I start remembering. We'll see.
