I was just telling a friend/co-worker that owning a food processor has finally made me truly want a dishwasher. I have never in my life had one, except in college for a few years, but my roommates and I never used it. During last year's epic Thanksgiving, Part Two, it took me the entire weekend + a day to clean up all the dishes. The roasting pan alone? Cripes.
So whenever I use my food processor, I think, "Boy, would it be nice not to wash every single piece of this beautiful machinery." At least with the KitchenAid, it's just a bowl and some type of mixing paddle.
Blegh.

I picked up some asparagus this weekend because I thought I had read about an asparagus pesto in some food magazine, but I couldn't remember.
New York Times to the rescue!
I loosely followed the recipe, and I think I used too much olive oil, but this shit is delicious. I am going to toss it with some rigatoni and grilled chicken. Boom!
